Michael Lam BA (Economics) is an active member of the business community. He serves on the board of director as secretary of Canada Singapore Business Association (CSBA) for over 16 years in various capacities. He is also the founding director of South East Asia Canada Business Council; an organization composes the 10 plus countries of ASEAN. He is currently Director/Secretary in the council. Michael Lam also sits as a director for the College of Physical Therapist of BC. In the past Michael Lam also attended and participated in various intra-government and bilateral committee; one of which is the Asia Economic Committee. Michael Lam also is a noted speaker. He has given seminars in UBC dental school and CGA. Recently, he was invited by the government of the Philippines as a health insurance advisor for a fact finding mission on their medical and dental facilities.

Since 1998, Michael Lam has been serving professionally in the business community as an advisor. He has a full spectrum of clients, ranging from sole proprietor to large corporation. His commitment to serve not only his clients but also his community has been noted.
